Software Communication Design
I didn't see the code but i will suggest a Software Communication Design

We can split the Emulator in three parts:

1 - Login Server: Here customers log onto the server. After a successful login, it's forwards the socket connection to Char Server.
2 - Char Server: Here is done all requests related to char (char request, char creation, char login, char deletion, etc). When customer select a char to login in, it's forwards the socket connection to Map Server.
3 - Map Server: Here we do all related to online players (npc, char, maps, etc).
